2009: Given the turbulent markets and trading conditions in Qtr's 3-4, 2008 remained a decent year with performance seeing like-for-like sales growth of 8%.
Dear Customer,
Given the turbulent markets and trading conditions in Qtr's 3-4, 2008 remained a decent year with performance seeing like-for-like sales growth of 8%, although the final quarter saw a downturn of -4.5% compared to 2007.
In the circumstances this is pleasing but 2009 will more than likely be a difficult year with markets finding their equilibrium. Cost savings and better cash flow will most likely be the order of the day and we are well placed to help and be part of our customers' plans in implementing those strategies.
We will continue to look to grow the business in our chosen sectors and will make sure we have the right product to offer to our customers, who are increasingly asking us to offer a full portfolio of packaging products. In the main we will concentrate on our core products and look to offer add-on's where needed.
Strong long-term relationships with our customers and suppliers alike are still key to our success and with innovation a main driver I believe that we are well placed with our offer; competitively priced packaging with good quality, performance led products allied to technical backup and high levels of service.
Rosenflex will continue to invest in the areas that are of interest and are always looking for opportunities that may bring.
